The first thing to do when working with a connection issue is to reboot your Sky boxes. Follow these easy steps to rebooting your boxes:

  1. Turn off you Sky mini box at the wall and wait about 30 seconds and then turn it back on.
  2. If that still hasn’t worked, it might not be just the mini box that has lost connection. Try switching both the mini box and the main box off at the wall for another 30 seconds, then turn the main box back on first.
  3. Wait about 3 minutes for it fully reboot and then turn the boxes back on.

If rebooting the boxes didn’t work for you, another issue could be that you need a WiFi booster to bump up the connection between your main box and your mini box.

Sometimes the network settings in your Sky box are the problem with the errors you are seeing. If you look at your network settings it will only show you that your mini box is connected to your network at home.

The easiest option if your network connection has been lost completely, or simply doesn’t work, is to follow these steps:

Sky Home page > Settings > Network > Setup > select the Reset option and confirm it.

This should reboot your network connections and give you the option to connect again to your home network.
