Some users of the app may worry when the servers go down as there was a rumour which circulated the internet suggesting that Discord was going to shut down in 2020, however, this isn’t the case and the app should be working fine.
Should you experience issues with the app, please follow our troubleshooting steps below.
Why isn’t Discord working?
If you find that the Discord app simply isn’t running as it should, try shutting down or exiting the app and then rebooting it.
You can also uninstall the app and reinstall it to refresh the app.
Shutting down your console, turning off at the plug and then rebooting can also fix many issues.
However, if after all the troubleshooting suggestions listed, the app still isn’t working, it may come down to an exterior issue such as a poor home broadband signal or a glitch occurring with the console. Ensure that your console is as up-to-date as possible and running on the latest software.
