Zoom is a fantastic platform to get family, friends or colleagues together to connect on a video call.
Since its release in 2013, Zoom has become a well-known platform that most businesses use as their online chat service.
In order to begin a video call, the ‘host’ needs to set up a meeting and invite participants to join.
At times the host may not be able to start the meeting and will need to allow others to join before the host.
This can cause Zoom “join before host” “not working” problems and we guide you on what to do should this happen.
How do I enable the Waiting Room in Zoom?
The waiting room in Zoom is a great way for the host to have better management over their participants.
Allowing the host to have control over the degree to which a participant is allowed to interact before a meeting starts.
Here is how to enable a waiting room in Zoom:
Settings > In Meeting > Waiting Room > Enable
Once the toggle has been enabled select send all participants to the waiting room or send guest participants only.
The waiting room can be activated for future meetings by the host.
Don’t suffer connection trouble during a Zoom Meeting! It becomes tiring to move from room to room just to get a good Wi-Fi connection, especially during an important group video call.
