The new channels added to Freeview in 2019
More local stations such as ITV Anglia, ITV Yorkshire and ITV Tynes and Tees HD will be available as 2019 progresses.
Horse and Country will be broadcast to the vast majority of viewers after being granted a license.
Tubed TV has also been awarded a license and will look to begin service as soon as possible later this month.

Channels that are changing in 2019
Freeview channels are constantly moving to different frequencies and that means they are available to some people and not others.
More4+1 is only available to 75% of people, but when it moves to Film4+1’s spot, it will be available to 94.5% of people in the UK.
Sony Crime Channel, broadcast on channel 40, will only be available in London and the surrounding area soon as it moves as it will only use the local satellite signal.
What’s the best way to get Freeview TV?
Most modern TV’s have a built-in Freeview tuner that allows you to find these channels with ease.
Freeview boxes are available for around £30 or HD versions for slightly more, check some deals out here!
Some broadband providers also offer access to Freeview as an incentive for you to sign up.
Shop around and make sure you get the best deal, it’s a lot cheaper than Sky TV or other channel providers.
