How to retune your Samsung TV remote

  1. Turn off the TV to allow the synching process to completely reset itself.
  2. Press down on the “TV” button on the remote, this tells the remote that it is pairing with a TV in the area.
  3. Use an item with a thin tip to push down the indented “Set” button at the bottom of the remote control.
  4. Your TV should have a make and model which corresponds to a certain three-digit code, this should be in the user manual.
  5. Press the power button on the remote, if your three-digit code works then the TV should turn on the remote should be returned and pair with your TV.

If these steps didn’t work then repeat steps one through five until your TV turns on.

How to use your Samsung TV without a remote

Sometimes you lose your remote, sometimes you run out of batteries, whatever the reason, we have a workaround until you get your remote issue solved!

Now all you need to do is find the TV control button, you’ll still be able to access the smart menu if you can turn the TV on via this button.

The likely location of this button is in the bottom right at the back of your TV and you just need to press the middle button to turn the power on.

You can then use the app to control your TV until your remote problems are resolved.
