Accessible through the Google App store, you can download the app here. Smart View will allow you to mirror the content from your mobile phone or computer straight to your Smart TV.

You can also download the application from Samsung Galaxy Apps here.

Here are some simple steps to take if you encounter a disconnection problem when using the “Samsung Smart View” and experience the ‘no content found’ error.

Firstly, make sure your TV is updated by navigating to your television’s settings and checking for updates. If this doesn’t solve the issue, please follow the steps below.

  • Using your Smartphone or device you wish to ‘cast’ from, locate the device’s ‘Settings‘ and go to ‘About phone‘.
  • From here go to Software information > click Build number multiple times.
  • You should now see Developer options > Networking > switch Authorise wireless display devices to ‘on’.

After you have completed these steps you should be able to make a connection for screen sharing.
