There’s nothing worse when watching your favourite programme than your app failing you.
Whether you’re watching standard TV or you’ve downloaded the Sky Go app, it seems that many customers are experiencing errors on the Sky service.
Many error codes come without explanation of what they mean.
So, is there a full Sky error codes list?
Sky error codes list
If an error occurs while you’re watching your favourite TV show you want to get it sorted as soon as possible.
But when there isn’t a list of error codes available to see what’s gone wrong it can be very difficult.
Sky TV and Sky Go often experience errors and it doesn’t look like a list of error codes has been made available yet.
When it does we’ll be sure to keep you updated here.
Sky Go error codes: Why do they happen?
Depending on whether you’re using the Sky Go app on a mobile, tablet, laptop, computer or games console, the reason for an error code appearing can be completely different.
Once you’ve established the device you’re using you need to look at what that device runs on. Is it Android, Apple, Amazon, a PlayStation or an Xbox?
You can run through the Sky diagnostics online here.
How to stop Sky error codes from happening
When error codes appear with Sky Go many users try to uninstall and reinstall the app to no avail.
However, there are other things you can do to avoid error codes from happening.
Make sure the time and date are correct on your device.
If you have Cisco VideoGuard Monitor on your device ensure that it is turned off or closed.
